I've waited so long to have a grocery store in Ashford, CT. Sometimes you just don't want to run into town. They have great prices for a small store, and it's convient; without the outrageous prices like other convient stores in town. They have a very good selection, and their avocados are the best. I now prefer to shop there instead of the big stores, and I've always been a supporter of small businesses, where they still know your name. I wish them the best of luck with their expansion of the store.

Try it, you'll like it. It's a new place, only about a month old, and very impressive for a neighborhood store. I welcome them and wish them many successful years in the area. For decades many of us locals have wanted and needed such a store around. The prices are fair and similar to what you'd find in larger establishments. The place is clean, well-lit, and surprisingly well-stocked with any basics you may need. The proprietor is polite, cheerful, and willing to order an item if it's something he doesn't carry or have in stock.

Small store with a little bit of everything. Deli, produce, fresh meats; chicken etc... You name it. Good prices and looked very clean. Happy to have a local market in town and avoid the big rip of chains.
