Tim Harris teaches Guitar Lessons, Ukulele Lessons, Piano Lessons, Harmonica Lessons, and Drum Lessons in the Northwest Denver area. Tim's custom approach suits the needs of a wide variety of individuals, from different backgrounds, abilities, styles, and genres of music. Tim gives you the tools to begin playing your favorite songs, and guides you as you want to grow as a musician. Tim started learning piano when he was five years old. He learned how to read notes early on and has always been interested in music. In the past seven years he has been picking up as many instruments as he can get his hands on. It started as he began to pick up the drums. He got drum lessons that focused mostly on technique. After that, he picked up his father's guitar and began teaching himself the ins and outs of string instruments. Now he plays ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, flute, didgeridoo and other instruments. He has even played the guitar, harmonica and box drum simultaneously just to see if he could do it. He considers himself a one man band. Tim writes his own original songs, and has a huge passion and dedication for music. In the past Tim gained experience working with people, as a summer camp counselor at Camp IdRaHaJe for campers' ages 6-18 yrs. In addition, Tim has worked with "Youth with a Mission" and attended Discipleship Training School for 5 months, Biblical School training in Jamaica for 3 months, and mission work in India for 2 months.
