I would like to commend technician Mike S for the outstanding service he provided me on April 2, 2015, during the spring checkup on my heat pump. He is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He has excellent communication skills and patiently answered my questions. I particularly appreciated the time he took to review the settings on my new heat pump and explain them to me. The new unit is much more technologically advanced than my prior model, and I did not fully understand all its capabilities. Mike demonstrated how features of the new unit could be set to save energy usage, such as by "locking out" the heat pump at low temperatures when the electric heat is much more efficient. He also explained how separating the temperature function from the humidity function could result in energy savings. Mike's visit confirmed my belief that I made the right decision to buy the new unit from Arlington Heating.

Arlington Heating & AC helped us out in a big pinch. The heat was out at my church and we needed to get it back up and running by Sunday. They squeezed us into their schedule and really went the extra mile in working late on Friday and Saturday to get a new boiler installed. There were a lot of questions about what type of boiler to install and what needed to be replaced vs what could be re-used. They were very patient and helpful in answering all the questions. We purchased and entirely new A/C system and ducts and the installation was top notch. based on the quality A/C servicing we expanded our service contract to include the boiler and radiant heating system. Serviceman Michael was here for the quarterly maintenance a week ago. We have an old boiler and it's about due for replacement. We had a good conversation with him and he explained the options based on his many years experience. Michael presented his recommendations so my wife and I could make an informed choice we feel good about. A formal estimate was in my inbox the next day. Arlington Heating and Air has been taking care of my heating and air conditioning needs for over 10 years. Replaced my outdated furnace, and when we had summer storms several years that shorted out appliances and cut power throughout Northern VA they quickly and efficiently replaced a control unit on my central air. That was a pretty big deal since the temp for about a 10 day period was around 100 degrees. Scheduling office and repair men have always gotten the job done for me. Couple of their techs over the years have even held a tutorial explaining what to look for as possible future problem areas. All in all a good outfit!
