Not sure what store these other "independent reviewers", ...but OVERPRICED and RUDE. I honestly felt as if I was "inconveniencing" the girl that I was asking questions. Very little effort to help or be informative. Too many other places to get the same stuff for cheaper with MUCH better customer service. Won't go back...I was in a good mood going in...and not so much upon leaving.

The True Percula is definitely the best fish store in DFW. The staff are always friendly and they do their best to help customers. If you go there on the weekend, you might have to wait to be helped, but the staff is VERY hard working and efficient and it normally doesn't take long. If you go there on a weekday, there is almost always someone to help you. The staff is also very knowledgable: if you need an honest answer for a problem with your fish/aquarium, this is the place! All in all, it's a huge store with a beautiful selection of fish, lots of different aquariums and equipment, and awesome staff! I have shopped here many times, and have never had a problem. I will be returning again for sure! :)

ths is a wonderful store with excellent inventory. my wife and i used to drive all the way to dallas, so it's good to have a store closer to home that beats all the competition. if yu need it they probably have it, but if not they can order quickly and they deliver.

I agree with the other reviewers True Percula is by far the best aquarium supply store. No matter if it's a beta fish to a full high end salt set up.

Love this place. The staff is always very friendly and they by far have the largest selection of exotics. Also, unlike the other aquatics stores in DFW they are affordable and consistent.

This store has a good inventory for salt water tanks. Their fresh water tank inventory is lacking. The customer services is also lacking. One visit no one will speak to you while the next they are following you around the store.

Good inventory, but the customer service stinks. The owner/manager has a bad habit of interrupting conversations an associate is having with a customer.

I went for the first time on Thursday January 24, 2008 to check this store out. It has only been open for a short time. They have so many saltwater fish, inverts, and misc items for my saltwater aquarium. I went in without any intentions of buying, just looking. Wow, was I mistaken. They had my favorite fish the Pearl Jawfish which cost me $250.00 at most places, there it cost me $142 and he was so healthy. I ended up buying another tank because their prices are so great and the Manager was excellent. He was so helpful and even gave away some hermit crabs with my purchase. Thanks to True Percula for being a great place.
