Walker Bros. received a flapjack rating of five flippers from Phil Vettel, Chicago Tribune restaurant critic. Through the years, Walker Bros. The Original Pancake House has received many other accolades as well. Recently, it was recognized by USA Today as one of the Top Ten Pancake Restaurants in the Nation. Chicago Magazine presented it with the Critic's Choice Award for the best breakfast.
