Dr. Mazzei believes that everyone is capable of change and growth. As a Health Psychologist, she works with teenagers and adults to overcome their emotional distress, improve well-being, and make positive life changes. Dr. Mazzei has years of experience helping patients overcome anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. Additionally, her expertise in health psychology has helped those with medical conditions, such as insomnia, infertility, postpartum depression, weight gain, and chronic pain, to achieve mental health wellness. Within a compassionate therapeutic environment, Dr. Mazzei will work closely with you to understand your concerns and to develop a path to achieve your goals. Dr. Mazzei’s philosophy to healing utilizes a biopsychosocial model, improving your brain, body and lifestyle. She incorporates evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, Hypnosis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), lifestyle change, and mindfulness-based therapies. Dr. Mazzei offers in-person sessions in Arizona and teletherapy in Arizona, Illinois and Nevada. Dr. Mazzei is also a Certified Hypnotherapist and Board Certified in Biofeedback. She is credentialed as a Health Service Psychologist with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and is the owner at Evolutions Behavioral Health. For over ten years, she has been involved in a medical practice where she provides services in health psychology.
