I have dark brown hair and wanted to go red. I knew it would be an awful lot of up keep but was ready for it. My first step was to lift my color so that that red would come through. I had come to this place and spoke with the woman that owns it. We agreed that my hair was very thin and fine and careful precautions should be taken. We decided heavy highlights were the best place to start. I went in for my appointment at 330 to start my highlights. We talked and laughed, they are very very nice people. About an hour and 45 minutes into it I asked how long the bleach should be on. She said not very long. About 2 hours and 40 minutes into it she had me come to the sink to wash it out. I went back to see the results and dry my hair. The color was horrible but I've had worse. She was talking about the color and telling my ends were dry and I figured I would just go get a trim. She offered to put a toner on it but I didn't want to pay for anymore work especially since it looked so bad. I left at 620. I got into my car and felt my hair. It was stiff and coarse. When I got home in better lighting I saw the damage. My hair was stretchy and snapped back when pulled, I had so many colors in my hair which i expected the black to practically stay but not only was there black but orange, white, red, and brown. I got in the shower to try and do a deep conditioning and my hair started falling out. I got out and dried it and saw underneath she hadn't even bleached the roots. My hair literally looks like I did it myself and the roots grew out uneven! My husband, not knowing what to do because I was bawling my eyes out as my hair was falling out, he called great clips to see what they could do. I went there and they cut about 3 inches off and gave me short layers. They sold me the things I needed to restore my hair and told me that almost three hours with bleach on my hair was way too long and thought maybe the woman was just starting. She has been doing this for years. My husband called the salon and talked to the woman about some kind of refund and she said that I wanted to go blonde and thats what she did. She told him that I was fine with it when I left and he told her I thought it was only the color that was bad. She told him I could have had her fix and he said that we did want to pay for more damage than she had already done. She said she wouldn't have charged me full amount. He brought up that she didn't do the roots and her excuse again was that I was fine when I left. He once again told her that I wasn't aware of the damage and incomplete bleaching until I got home. She said there was nothing she could do because I left and already paid. I don't know about the nails but I know if you need any kind of bleaching, this is NOT the place to go. I paid $85 for what I could have done. I went to them because we discussed everything and had a plan. I do not recommend getting your hair done here.

Clerk failed to book my appointment, when I arrived 30 minutes earyly even, I learned that the stylist was not even there. First and LAST appointment with this salon, and in view of the location, they can't afford to lose customers in this god-forsaken town.
