Specializing in orthopedic trauma care, you have to be ready for anything. I treat people of every age, handle many acute injuries and provide all types of fracture care. To me, the skill and precision it requires to care for something as serious as a broken bone is obviously essential to a positive outcome. It’s not just the surgical aspect of addressing the physical injury that’s the sole focus though. I consider the mental and social impact these situations can have on my patients and offer the support needed to help them cope.
