Here, at Gifford Fence Company, LLC, we specialize in custom installation - especially in wood privacy and picket fence. All of our wood fences are "site" or "stick" built. This means that we do not use the prebuilt panels available at Home Depot, Lowes or Fence Outlet. We actually build the fence piece by piece. With wood fences we come out on the first day and set the posts in wet, mixed concrete. Then we come back the next day and nail up 2" x 4" rail supports and pickets. This custom installation provides for a better looking fence and in most cases a much stronger fence. But don't think custom means more expensive.
