Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter & served it that evening. It tasted stale. Tried again with some pastry and they too did not taste fresh. That was the last time I was in.

We have been getting banana cream pies here for years which is a family favorite for the holidays in our house, so yummy! The cakes are amazing also for special occasions, but the very best thing they make is the apple strudel. I would recommend calling in your order for any major holiday, the strudels sell out fast.

This has been our bakery for as many years as it has been in business. Whether you call it Mike's or Berry's it is still the best bakery you can find within 100 miles! When our huge family found out it was closing we went into mourning as if we had lost a lifelong friend. When the news came out that Mike was coming back and we would have our bakery back the phone liines were buzzing with calls to friends and family. Their eclairs and nepolians are wonderful and no one can make a better chocolate pie - remember to order ahead if you want one. They usually have banana cream pies on the shelf and it has always been a family favorite. But the best of all are the wonderful cakes - we always order whip cream with fresh strawberry filling and it is by far the best we have found. It may cost a little more than a grocery store bakery but the quality is more than worth it.
