The United States Naval Academy offers bachelor s degrees to more than 1,000 students annually. The academy provides courses in professional development, mathematics and science, engineering and weapons, and humanities and social sciences. It also offers extracurricular activities in choir and German. The United States Naval Academy operates dolphin, boxing and French clubs. In addition, the academy provides participation opportunities in a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, soccer, cross-country and football. It manages a library that maintains a collection of research guides, electronic journals and databases. The academy operates officer development and information technology services divisions. The United States Naval Academy manages the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership.
