Annapolis Running Shop is for runners by runners. The staff is very friendly and experienced. They freely share knoweldge of the sport, and dont make you feel stupid for asking basic questions. The Wednesday night running group is a great way to get your miles in and socialize with the friendliest bunch of folks in Annapolis! All around a Great Experience!!

These people either must be the local competition stores or someone who has never spent more than a second in Annapolis Running Shop. Not only do the owners really know what they are talking about when it comes to running, they volunteer and give back by coaching beginner runners ( like me) and the local high school. So they dont sell the Free.......Big Deal. Thats a gimmick shoe anyway.

It's no wonder the Capitol Newspaper had an article on Annapolis businesses failing. This place is a good example why - or at least based on how I was treated the day I entered his store. The owner barely lifted his head from his computer after I stood staring at shoes for a minute +. He didn't move, but asked from across the room if I needed help. I asked if he carried Nike Free, he answered a quick "No", and went back to work. I waited, expecting elaboration, but nothing. I then asked why. I asked are they hard to come by. He sharply stated, "No. I just don't sell something I don't believe in!" That was it; put his head back down and kept typing. No further help offered. I promptly left the store. He lost a customer that day. Perhaps if he would have explained himself a little or offered to show me the other Nike shoes he had on his wall, I might have bought something. I will never go in his store again. His arrogance and rudeness lost him money that day.
