West Middle School is part of the Andover Public Schools. Located in Andover, Mass., Andover West Middle School enrolls more than 450 students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, computer studies and physical education. It also offers elective courses in theater art, films and foreign languages, such as Latin and Spanish. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It provides recreational activities, such as drama and art clubs, and Latin and cooking clubs. It offers various sports activities including volleyball, football, track and field, cross-country, basketball, soccer and softball. The school is equipped with a media center and gymnasium. It also provides computer laboratory and library facilities and cafeteria service to its students.
