They were quick to see me as a 1st-time patient with lower back pain. Quick and seemingly sensible recommendation of an xray, then an MRI. MRI report was sent to their office same day of procedure (that was 1 1/2 days ago - I verified with the radiologist). Not bad, except that when the nurse finally called me back today, she said they JUST got it in and that the doctor was going to look at it & call me back. Only, it was the nurse who called me back to relay the message of the diagnosis. She was quick to get off the phone and was only able to say "it's a bulging disc, and you call back to tell us if you want to pursue physical therapy". OK!? In the past hour, I've learned more by researching this whole thing on the Internet. I'm getting a 2nd opinion and plan on also finding a more aggressive and knowledgeable family physician team.
