Dr. Markiewicz is a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon with Fellowships from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He holds a DDS from the University at Buffalo, an MD from Oregon Health and Science University, and an MPH from Harvard University.Currently, Dr. Markiewicz serves as Co-Director of the Western New York Craniofacial Team at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital and as the William M. Feagans Endowed Chair at the University at Buffalo. His work spans clinical care, research, and education, shaping the future of surgical care.
