Mississippi Valley Christian School, established in 1974, enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school offers a variety of educational services. Its curriculum includes computer applications, mathematics, history, geography, science and English. Mississippi Valley Christian School provides various extracurricular activities, including basketball, volleyball, soccer and cheerleading. In addition, the school conducts sessions in music, dramatics and fine arts. It organizes sports tournaments, parties, orientation programs and parent-teacher meetings. Additionally, the school provides meal, transportation and career guidance services. Mississippi Valley Christian School organizes various fundraising events and activities. Located in Alton, Ill., the school employs a staff of teachers, administrators, language experts and trainers. It is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church.
