Provided by YP.comThe lady whom took over Alton Memorial Sales has made a complete mockery out-of-the-business! She is the daughter of the owner; never having to compete with anyone; never having to compete for a job; never having to worry about anything. Is it not any wonder that she cares nothing about what type of service she delivers?
I ordered two vases and two memorial photos. I changed the original area where I wanted one photo installed, but same was changed before any photo ever got put up. After giving specific directions as to where I wanted the photo installed, I'll be damned if it wasn't put in the wrong place anyway.
It took eight months to have two vases installed and two memorial photos. In-between time, I physically visited the office to see what the delay was only to be told a moronic answer: "It's been raining a lot." How come when I ordered everything it was the month of April and we went through the entire spring and summer months with the very same excuse?
The man whom originally owned Alton Memorial Sales was Fred Haney; a very wonderful business man whom one could always rely upon and of whom would turn over in his grave if he thought the business he worked for all of his life in which to build the very fine reputation that it had, was not a mockery of what any Monumental Company should be. To give this business a 5 star rating would be going against everything Mr. Fred Haney persevered for years, to build-up.
The daughter of the now, Owner, is by far the most lackadaisical, whimsical, lazy, disinterested woman I have ever met in my 77 years of life. She has no business in dealing with loved ones and their graves. She belongs in a circus! For being a relatively young woman, I would be ashamed of myself for bearing such a horrible, ridiculous outlook on life!
