I was a pre-school teacher myself for a time, and I can promise you that this is NOT preschool. The children learn diligently, while still having fun. Daycares are nothing but chaos and trying to keep your kid quiet because the girl taking care of them makes $8.50 and hour. They don't really care, nor are they educated enough to know how to grow the minds and futures of young children. At My First Academy, you will find three women who sincerely care about each individual child. There are no outcasts. Each child is encouraged to learn at their own pace. Montessori is amazing for that reason, but some may have heard that it's too strict and that they want their children to feel special, loved, and adored while they are there. Well, you found it. Those teachers adore my girls, and kiss and hug them everyday. They come home at night with an incredible sense of calm and confidence. Bedtime has become easy. They get all of the love and attention they need, as well as the amazing structure. My daughter just turned four, but thanks to MFA, she's been able to write her name for ages, and that's not even the impressive part. She knows every letter by sound. She can already write words on her own just by sounding them out. The building may be small, but what's inside is huge. You will truly be missing out if you don't give your children a chance to attend that school.
