OMG we were driving by this place (Endurance House) and decided to go in and check it out. I told Julie we had 40 min to kill before they closed at 5. Ok first impression. Cool floor, a wall of shoes for running, walking, and them fancy shoes that you have to have to wear when you ride a real road bike… the shoes had no price tags on them so I thought to myself that there is no way. I walked over to the first bicycle on the floor glanced down at the price tag. Then knew there was no way. We were looking for a seat for my wife’s bicycle. I walked over to where my wife was looking at the shoes…I made an offhand comment about the two tread mills over by the shoes that if you were going to take out a mortgage to buy the shoes that you better walk and run in them before buying. Then the sales lady walked over and described what the treadmill and tablet was for. They record you walking on the treadmill wearing different shoes making sure that the shoe matches the way you walk, run, and jog. This lady Lee (CO Owner) explained the process. I told Julie to go ahead and see what the process suggested for a new pair of shoes for her. Julie (my wife) needed a new pair of running shoes. The process revealed lots of information. Julie asked Lee what the price range was for the shoes, to my surprise they were half of what I expected. Lee takes her time and Julie makes the decision on a pair of Hoka shoes. Julie is so happy.

We walk over to the register and to my further surprise its 11 min after 5, they should have been closed but the owner wanted to make sure Julie and I were happy with our selections. Yes they talked me into trying on a couple of different shoes to help with the Neuropathy. To my surprise yes they are still surprising me at this point, the shoes made a difference in the level of pain. Lee is going to try to find a pair that is made wide enough for me. Time to get active with less pain, that does not cost an arm and a leg. Any level of athlete that needs shoes, cycle gear, swim gear, clothing and cycle work this is your new and affordable location in Alpharetta.
