Before learning about Distinctive Tile (DT), we had searched other places for kitchen tile with no success. We actually learned about DT when we read about their fine selection and fine service in the remarks section of a competitive (the reviewer was complaining about the other company, and mentioned that he had great service at DT instead). So we traveled 1-1/2 hours just to visit their store. Once we stepped foot into DT, we found that their selection was both large and unique. Deb and Jack were friendly and very helpful with our purchase, and they also gave us a number of useful hints about proper installation. Deb was extremely helpful when our tile was delayed by the manufacturer. She got on the phone to research the problem and solved it. She goes above and beyond to help her customers. Deb and Jack are the nicest people. They are very helpful and honest. The tile I wanted was on sale, but other dealers would not give me the price it was on sale for or even close to it. This is the way every business should be run. Principles Deb and Jack and their two sons make every client fell like their job is the most important one and it is! My heart broke because "unlucky" timing prevented me from hiring Deb's son Nate to install my tile. ...he is so artistic and does AMAZING work. Deb worked tirelessly to find installers for me with great references. When "lucky" timing afforded me the opportunity to have my installation completed sooner than expected, Deb got me what I needed in record time. Not to mention that during the whole process she was monitoring the stock to make sure there was enough for my substantial job. Their shop is simply amazing..... busting with the most unique and unusual tiles...and even the more usual ones scream upscale! let them know your budget and your vision up front and they will work to put something smashing together. Deb's interior design expertise along with Jack's artistic talent are wonderfully synergistic.

One of the most important features in any service field is customer service and I can't say enough about Distinctive Tile. Deb and Jackie are two of the most knowledgeable people in the tile field; not to mention the service we received was second to none. They spent time with us explaining the features of different tiles, and showing us which tile would work best with our cabinets and granite counter tops. Deb even came to the house to make sure that the selected tile would be the best for our needs. One of the best features is that they carry quality tile in a personable setting. Tile can be purchased at many stores but with Distinctive Tile you are purchasing superior tile and superior customer service.

Distinctive Tile & Stone did a wonderful job on my Kitchen backsplash!!! Deb was extremely helpful and so nice to work with. She never hesitated to order me new samples so I could take them home. I could have not asked for better communication from her about samples, prices and availability. Her prices were very good and offered great suggestions on your job at hand by even making a trip out to my house, top of the line customer service. We had one of her sons, Eirik install the tile, awesome job he did. He was so detailed oriented and spent the time to get the right mix of color through out my backsplash. He finished the job on time and was very neat and very pleasant to work with. He took the time to consult with me to ensure I would be a happy customer. The BEST Tile and Service!I have worked with Deb on 2 bathroom projects and now a kitchen. If you want run-of-the-mill, defective tile-go to Home Depot or Lowes. If you want to talk to knowledgable staff about the products that you will have in your home for years to come-see Deb at Distinctive Tile. She and her staff know when to let you browse through and when you need some direction. She has the designer's eye and the contractor mind. She knows how to make it all work. I bought backsplash tile for my newly remodeled kitchen and a medallion piece for above my kitchen cooktop in May 2012 from Distinctive Tile. Debbie was extremely helpful with selecting my tile and medallion to match my cabinets, hardwood floor, wall color and floor tile. She even helped me choose a granite countertop when my original choices were not meshing with my kitchen design. She was extremely helpful in picking out a beautiful subway tile and rust colored grape bowl medallion. I loved her design and the kitchen backsplash came out lovely.

Awesome service and unbelievable selection. I replaced my bathroom floor with marble and they helped us tremendously in selecting the perfect tile. My project spanned 8 months and my estimate ran short but they worked to get me another box of the exact same tile from the same lot. Now thats customer service! They are super knowledgeable about their products and as a first timer in laying marble, they walked me thru the entire steps of what I needed to do, what tools I would need and supplied me with everything I needed to finish the project. They were always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I gutted our house and began rebuilding 4 1/2 years ago. We didn't realize how many decisions had to be made to complete the project. We began working with Debra a year ago after attempting to work with floor and carpet stores that did tile as a side line. Deb is great to work with during the design phase. She has a wealth of knowledge on the numerous options available and put together a wonderful package for us. Then we had to make a decision on installers. Luckily, we chose to work with Deb's family of brother, two sons and a cousin. We decided to go this way because if there was a product problem, shortage of materials, or scheduling problem, we would just have to call "MOM". It turned out to be an excellent choice. The "Team" did an excellent job and we love the final installation. Everybody worked together to provide us with a shower/steam bath that is not only functional, but a real pleasure to look at and use. We strongly recommend Distinctive Tile for you.
