This place is awful! Horrible customer service! Stay away!My girlfriend and I called the boutique in the morning when they first opened to make an appointment. The woman who answered said we could not make an appointment over the phone, we had to go online. We went online to their website and saw that a 12 o'clock appointment was available. I entered my information and reserved the time. When we arrived, the store was completely empty. The attendant at the front desk did not give us a proper greeting. She immediately asked if we had an appointment. I said that we just made one for 12. She said "That time was supposed to be blocked out. We are short staffed. I am the only one here and I have to make follow up phone calls to customers. You are welcome to look around and try on whatever you like." I felt completely disrespected but I started looking at dresses anyway to get an idea of the style I liked. After I selected 5 or so dresses. My girlfriend started helping me try them on. The attendant sat behind the counter "making calls" the entire time. As if calls can't be made any other time when there isn't a live customer willing to spend money IN THE ACTUAL STORE! Another lady came out of nowhere and started asking us questions. (Still no proper or polite greeting) "Did you fill out a registration card? Did you have an appointment? You need an appointment" We said we had one for noon but the attendant on the phone said she was short staffed and had to make phone calls. (20 minutes later and THE STORE WAS STILL COMPLETELY EMPTY!) She started grabbing dresses that I set aside and putting them back on the rack. At that point, I was livid. I threw off the dress. We left and went to Roya's Bridal Boutique around the corner. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME OR MONEY IN THIS HORRIBLE STORE!

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. They actually were rude to me after they learned I was in the military.

Didn't want to give this place one star. Had problem with my daughter getting an appointment for her fitting. They kept giving times when she's in school(during the week). Couldn't get a Saturday appt. cause they were all book. Another reason I say don't go here is because my daughter's dress came back and was sitting at the store for a whole month. My future daughter in-law called and found out they had only call her one time and told her that her voicemail was full but did not try again after that. The shop is also over priced. JUST BEWARE.

Buyer bewareLike a lot of the other reviewers - Be careful about buying a dress from Ellie's. Be ABSOLUTELY SURE you want the dress because there is no backing out. Once they have your money, it's gone.

Don't go to Ellie's Bridal Boutique!! I wish I had read the reviews before I dealt with Ellie's. Everything about the store was average - the sales people, the variety of dresses, etc. I found a dress that was OK and decided to order it. (My only excuse I can think of why I ordered the dress was wedding stress!) The dress arrived much later than they quoted me. The woman who answered the phone gave me wrong information about my dress several times. Finally the dress came in and I decided not to take the dress. I was willing to lose my deposit to get a better dress at another store. But they charged me the whole amount and didn't give me the dress. What crooks! I am still fighting with them months later!

I have no idea what these other reviewers are talking about. My experience at Ellie's was fantastic. Even when the manufacturer sent the wrong BM dresses initially, the salesperson assured me that she would take care of everything and not to worry. Of course I worried, but everything came in BEFORE my wedding with time for alterations!

"I have trouble giving this business even one star. My caution here is be sure about the dress you buy here and that your wedding is a definite one. Why? Because ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!!!!I bought a dress and paid 1/2 that day in June. It went from the manikin, to a bag, and then to the store's storage room since my wedding wasn't going to be until December. My fiance is a military chaplain. He was to deploy in March but then it got moved up to December. We cancelled our big wedding, hence no need for a dress. We found all of this out 3 weeks after buying the dress. Let me remind you that the only thing that Ellie did was move the dress from the floor to storage for three weeks.Ellie was unwilling to refund my money, put the dress back on the floor for someone else to buy, nothing! It didn't matter that my husband to be was being deployed, died, or left me high and dry. Heartless!Who wants to do business with a woman like this? I certainly don't. I hope you don't either.

Horrible customer service! I had an appointment and they told me they were too busy to take me and I'd have to reschedule. We did, and then at that appointment they didn't have anyone to help me and nowhere to change. They told me I could use the back storage room but people kept coming in and out. Uncomfortable! If there was a rating lower than one star they'd get that from me.

I had a terrible experience at Ellie's Bridal Boutique and strongly recommend that brides and bridesmaids avoid this shop. The staff was nice when I picked out my dress, but was extremely rude every visit after that. Alterations took too long, forcing me to buy another dress from a different store. Although there is an email address listed on Ellie's webpage, Ellie herself mocked me for having sent an email, literally asking, "You think we have time to read emails?" $300 spent on a dress I'll never wear.
