If I could give the Albany branch of Pacific Residential Mortgage no stars I would. Staff is incompetant. You need to know everything about mortgages becasue they won't tell you anything and the you end up paying way more in closing costs. Fees keep climbing. Communication is poor at best. We were told an appraisal would be one price then it went up significantly. We were also told that it can be hard to find an appraiser who will take a job. My favorite was that the reason we were having trouble was because a new staff member screwed it up. Shouldn't the manager be watching a new staff memeber? And nice to throw someone uder the bus - that did not make a good impression. Avoid this branch at all costs but if you don't, get everything in writing because they will lie about what happened.
