For Love of Wine was dreamed up by contemporary classical musicians with a passion for wine! It is a small locally-owned business that opened in 2009 with an aim to establish itself as a premiere wine shop in the Capital District. Every week, we taste over 100 wines and select the best ones in the $10-$20 range. Our wine lists are constantly changing to reflect this. We also reserve some higher-end wines for special occassions when you want to treat yourself or a loved one. These all become part of our collection of over 250 carefully hand-selected wines and accessories. You'll find our employees extremely knoweldgeable and willing to provide a personalized customer experience to give you the best wine we can for your budget. By the end of a visit, you'll learn more about wine than you'd think possible. If you haven't had enough, there are also wine classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings where you'll taste wines and learn to become a wine expert.
