Ask for Chanel. She loves what she does and it reflects in her work. She does my keratin treatment, my cuts, and color. Her knowledge surpasses any stylist that I have ever been to and she is great with all types of hair. She never rushes and doesn't let me leave until it's absolutely perfect.

I went to Anias on a boring Saturday for a cut and color and when I was done, I was amazed. My stylist was Chanel and she beyond exceeded my expectations. Not only was she stunningly beautiful but I felt comfortable the minute I sat in her chair. She consulted with me thoroughly and answered all questions and reservations I had. She took her time and didn't talk my ear off. The color was stunning and current. My cut was beautiful. She gave me gorgeous layers and blew it out to absolute perfection. I even got a few days out of my blow dry ++! I have thick, unruly hair so I was impressed. I have been to many salons in the area but I just had to let people know about the jewel in Ania hair studio. She boosted my confidence and made me feel great. Thank you Chanel and I will definitely be back.

Ask for Cassie! Today, I had my hair cut and colored by a talented stylist, Cassie, at Ania Hair Studio & Spa of Albany. The entire experience was a treat. After some discussion and viewing of samples, Cassie suggested a color to compliment my complexion. Afterward, I described the cut I wished to have. Over the past year, I let my hair grow out. At Ania Hair Studio, I was hoping to get an updated flattering style appropriate for a woman in her 50's. Cassie worked miracles on my overly thick and dull hair. After the chocolate-brown color was meticulously applied, Cassie snipped and shaped my wavy locks. The result made me cry for joy. I looked and felt ten years younger. I now have an updated sophisticated style that frames my face and is age-appropriate. Thank you Cassie for making me look younger and making me feel so special. I am eager to return.

I love this place. I've had my hair highlighted and cut/styled twice and both times absolutely loved it. Showed me how to do a style that worked for me, since I don't like to do a lot with my hair. Took the time to make sure everything was to my liking. Have even recommended them to friends and family. Will definitely go back!

I went here for a hair color and cut ... The staff were friendly; the haircut was nice and the color was OK - they took a LONG time to cut/color my hair and overall, I wasn't amazed; not sure I would go back ...

If I could give this place zero (0) stars I would. THEY GAVE ME HERPES! I went to have my makeup done for my friends wedding on Saturday August 21st. I didn't share drinks or kiss anyone other than my husband all weekend. Monday morning at work I noticed my lip hurt. Went to the bathroom to look in the mirror and saw three little blisters on my top lip. Gestation for herpes is 2-12 days. Thinking back I remembered the makeup girl hadn't sprayed the lipstick or lipgloss she used on me with alcohol before applying them. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING COSMETIC! Ania Hair Studio & Spa: Makeup for a day, HERPES for a lifetime.

THE PLACE WAS A DISASTER! I HAD A FACIAL, IT WAS THE WORST FACIAL I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! DON'T EVER GO THERE!!!

I have tried many different salons in the area and Ania's continues to be in best in both level of experise and personalized, friendly service.I would recommend it (and have!) without hesitation. There are some of the BEST hairstylists in the area on staff there, as well as THE BEST manicurists. If you want to be relaxed and pampered, while receiving excellent sevice, go to Ania's!
