      About Dr. Fish Barry Fish, MD, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, providing comprehensive women’s care at his Fairlawn, Ohio, OB/GYN practice. Dr. Fish is a popular physician, having been chosen as Attending Physician of the Year at Akron General Medical Center multiple times. He has also received the Elite Patient Service Award from SUMMA Health Systems in Akron, Ohio, for providing better service than 90% of physicians nationally. Dr. Fish is the sole provider at his practice and ensures patients always receive his full attention with each visit. Dr. Fish continues to teach at Akron General Medical and was voted outstanding teacher by the residents in September 2001. He still serves as a clinical assistant professor of OB/GYN at Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is a lead investigator for Radiant Research in Akron, Ohio.Together with his excellent staff of medical professionals, Dr. Fish offers diagnostic and treatment options for a number of women-centered services, including menopause and pregnancy, and gynecological issues, such as endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. Dr. Fish previously served as the medical director of Akron Women’s Health Clinic in Akron, Ohio. In addition to his active membership as a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Fish is a member of the American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, the medical Society of Greater Akron, and the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the Central Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Graduating from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in natural science, Dr. Fish went on to earn his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He finished his residency at SUMMA Health Systems, Akron City Hospital. When not taking personal care of his OB/GYN patients, Dr. Fish enjoys spending his time relaxing on the golf course or indulging in a good book.
