Hertford County High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry, physical science, civics, economics and history. The school also offers a range of extracurricular programs that include band, drama, earth club, Future Business Leaders of America, mathematics club, science club and Community Leaders of America. Hertford County High School is accredited by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. It is a part of Hertford County Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Hertford County High School has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and is located in Ahoskie, N.C.
