The Board of Selectmen is comprised of several members that are elected on a rotating basis for three-year terms. The Board of Selectmen is a division of the government of the town of Acton, Mass. It addresses residents concerns, provides a sounding board for public hearings and appointments, conducts town meetings and accepts donations. Acton, Mass., is a suburban community located northwest of Boston. It offers a range of services to residents and businesses, including a government, libraries, a police department, a fire department, and local and regional school systems.
