Psychotherapy is a process designed exclusively to help you, as an individual, develop deeper insight and better understanding of your motivating behaviors, feelings and thoughts. The psychotherapeutic process is supported through analysis of background history, experiences in family of origin, community/cultural environment, and other significant influences that have shaped who you are today. Psychotherapy helps you develop insight and understanding into concerns that have caused you distress. Psychotherapy, is not a process that focuses exclusively on the negative aspects of ones life, but, rather, includes recognition of strengths, talents, skills, resilience and commitment to change. Through the therapeutic process you will acquire tools and concepts that will improve your ability to cope with stressful situations for the rest of your life. As a psychotherapist my goal is to help you navigate this process in a comfortable and safe environment that will effectively enhance your ability to attain positive growth and happiness.
