      Great Atmosphere...Awesome chips and salsa. I love mexican food, but found the food to be so so here. The refried beans weren't what I know true mexican refried black beans to be, the chicken was spicey but good..they use dark meat but I prefer white & the sangria tasty but not strong enough ;) The staff are super friendly and personable!

      I love that Taunton has a new restaurant! El Mariachi is a fun place with great chips and salsa, a nice mole sauce and a variety of Tex-Mex favorites. It's very popular and there's parking in the back.

      The menu consists of a cornucopia of all things Mexican, from quesadilla camarones (sautéed shrimp with red sauce and cheese), to burritos, enchiladas and chimichangas. Some menu items perhaps not as familiar to fans of Mexican food include red snapper huapango, puerco asado (pork loin steak with guacamole) and tortilla chicken soup. Desserts such as deep-fried ice cream and freshly baked flan topped with caramel and coffee liqueur are likely to satiate anyone with a sweet tooth. Lunch and dinner prices start at about $7 and top out at less than $20.
