I've brought my Volvo to Sherms Inc a few years ago after my car was hit in a parking lot. The body work was flawless and truthfully it looked as good as the day I drove it off the showroom floor. That day Sherms became the only place I would even consider for auto work. They fixed everything beautifully, cleaned meticulously inside and out, and handled all the insurance stuff so it would be effortless on my part. The work was finished ahead of schedule and that was extremely helpful because it prevented me from having to rent a vehicle.Since then I've been there twice to fix a headlight and to fix the door handle mechanism because the cable snapped and it wouldn't open from the inside. They have always been prompt, direct, and transparent in pricing which is most valuable of all. John Doyle provided an invoice explaining a breakdown of the costs of each part and the extremely low price for labor which I am truly grateful for. I was a complete stranger and they treated me like family. Volvo is typically an expensive auto to fix therefore I am very thankful for Sherm's Inc because by far they have been the best auto specialists I've had the pleasure of working with. Bravo! and keep up the good work! If you value your vehicle and appreciate outstanding customer service then Sherm's Inc is the only one to consider for any and all of your vehicles needs! These guy's are the best VERY HONEST and skilled like in an earlier review Sherm is deff. a character once you sit there for a while you will like him. These guys will do there best to do whatever you want .I highly recommend them.

Sherm's is absolutely the best auto repair shop that I know of. They are completely honest and hardworking. They have worked on my Toyota, E250 Ford Van , and my Subaru Forester (which other mechanics have refused to touch). Sherm himself, well he is Sherm to know him is to love him!! He is a funny guy and is right down to earth. He talks to you like you're his family, doesn't hold anything back. John Doyle is the best mechanic in the world!! Their honesty put them at #1 on my list.

Will Never go here again! No customer service skills at all! The guy would not put down his cheese Burger and provide assistance. I had to initiate the conversation. Then he continued to read his news paper while I was talking. Would not answer my questions.. I walked out and will never return!

To the NISSAN bumper review... No need to defend the shop. IF the shop had any clue and good experience they would have known up front they can NOT paint the bumper and the repair would require a new bumper! great example of poor service!

These guys know their stuff. Great, personable and HONEST mechanics. John and his crew are artists in car repair, don't think of going anywhere else. Sherm is a character, but eventually you'll get to love him. And they can fix just about any car out there, foreign or domestic. Steve, Avon MA

To the last reviewer, Nissan bumpers on a lot of their cars are made from recycled plastics. There are no after market covers because of the "paint sticking issue". When Sherms ordered your new bumper from Nissan it is not the same one they use on the new car, it is actually a better grade of plastic. I have been a paint tech rep for a major automotive paint company for 30 years. This is a know issue within the auto body industry for years. Any shop you went to would do the same as Sherms.

I got the recommendation of this body shop from this website, So I fully trusted them with my repair needs. I needed my front bumper repainted after I got in a accident and the lady who hit me didn't want to go through insurance and had me get an appraisal and paid cash. I got an apparaisal for $280 but since I'm paying cash they gave me a deal at $275. I left the car on tuesday, they said it's gonna be finish around 5pm tomorrow. They called around 3pm the same day saying there was a problem about the paint. And called me again at 6pm saying they cannot paint because the paint is not sticking to the bumper (note: my car is a 2008 Nissan Rogue). They said they need to install a new bumper instead which cost another $220. So now I have to cough another extra $220 for a unforseen cost about the repair. Beside the hassle of having no car for 3 days, all the extra anxiety is not worth recommending this shop.
