I have used Vernon for many years in two different homes. Last week, Mario Escobar and a new tech in training, Ronnie Smith, came out to perform my semi-annual checkup. They were on time and called ahead. They introduced themselves, put on shoe covers, and got right to work. They discovered my flu pipe cap was missing, and rain has been running into the furnace causing rust. We agreed I would get a new flu pipe cap, and they would come back to replace the rusted parts. Mario also suggested a device that would detect water on the floor and turn the system off before water could spread and ruin the surrounding carpet (which I bought). As soon as a new flu pipe cap was installed, Mario and Ronnie came back right away to finish the job starting with putting down rug protection. They walked me through all they had done, answered my questions, cleaned up my furnace room and disposed of all debris. Pleasant, polite, professional, timely, and tidy. Terrific job guys!!!

George Riley, Senior Specialist Technician, for Vernon Heating and A/C conducted a six-month check of my A/C unit. He was professional and informative. George provided very useful advice on the care and maintenance of my A/C. For example, he recommended trimming back scrubs that were restricting airflow to my outside unit. He is a credit to the company.

George is awesome and very thorough. Answered questions we didn't even think to ask. Highly recommended.

I live in a new house (2 1/2 years) in Aldie, VA and recently, everything has been breaking ...most recently our air conditioning system. It stopped working on a Friday and late Friday afternoon my husband contacted Vernon. Mario E. showed up within an hour of us contacting the company. We were very impressed he got there so quickly. He conducted a thorough examination. Mario was very professional and pleasant the entire visit. On Sunday night we reached out to Mario letting he know that we would like to proceed with the repair and he contacted us immediately the next day. Mario and Ronnie S. showed up to perform the repairs. They worked fantastically as a team - making sure everything was installed and working properly. Both Ronnie and Mario were polite and professional and kept me fully informed as to what they were doing. Due to their great customer service, we went ahead and signed up for the service membership. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend.

Vernon is an excellent and fair company to deal with. George was polite, thorough, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. He helped me set reasonable expectations for the life and performance of my unit. He also provided some good advice for when we build our next home. Thank you for sending George.

Gary Cronin has been to our residence a number of times, and each time I have been very impressed with his remarkable technical skills. He not only knows his business, but can explain very clearly any technical issues in simple to understand English. In addition he is a pleasant individual to deal with. I rate him the maximum 5 stars and will definitely call on him at my next need. Vernon should be pleased to have such an outstanding employee.

Asked for a second opinion on pending services with another company as I felt something was amiss. George came out, listened to the issues we had with the unit, looked over everything, and showed us some things that confirmed my suspicions. Other company had replaced evaporator coil with an incompatible part and rigged it to last for a while. Unit was burned up due to incompatibility. Other company had quoted us a price for replacement, and when asked, George did the same. He candidly told me that his company would likely be a higher price, but as it turned out, the unit a tier higher through Vernon was a few hundred cheaper. They accommodated my schedule and have taken care of us. Damn sure worth the call to have them check things out.

I have been very happy with Vernon since I purchased my HAVC system in 2011. Their technicians are knowledgeable and go the extra mile to ensure that you are satisfied. Today, George was prompt and friendly. He quickly identified the problem, recommended a solution, and quoted a price. He also took the time to change the batteries in my thermostat and kill a bug that had flown in the door. I am confident that George and the rest of the Vernon team will resolve my issue and keep my system running smoothly for years to come.

My air conditioner unit stopped working early August. Gary came to fix it that same day. He came on time,positive attitude, spent time to really figure out the problem. Took steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Spent time to explain what went wrong.What impressed me the most was he didn't treat this as just another call but that doing a good job really mattered to him.

Gary was fantastic. Although the problem ended up having nothing to do with A/C, he spent lots of time with me to diagnose where the leak was likely coming from. I feel that this company (Vernon) always does a thorough job.

Had a pool of water on my HVAC system. George came out and was very helpful. He was very personable and professional. Additionally, George spent time looking at any possible problem that could be causing my issue, showed me his concerns and explained everything. George also provided money saving/energy tips regarding running the AC in the hot summer months. I will request George on my next service call.
