The best pizza south of Jersey..........Got this one dead on

Really salty pizza. If you don't like salt tell them to hold off.

Good pizza atmosphere with small dining area and two flat screen TVs. Pizza kitchen stock items set out visibly giving more atmosphere including canned goods, glass jars of ingredients, cans of olive oil. The artichoke dip was well worth the wait. Normally that kind of thing is microwaved and served near instantly. But this was a generous portion baked in a real oven with stringy cheese all over the top. We ordered the 'everything pizza' and were disappointed by the sparse ingredients and the tiny Italian sausage pieces. Maybe that's the style in the northeast I don't know. But I have bought better topped frozen pizzas at the grocery store for half the price. So I'm giving the restaurant 4 stars.

Well let me start by saying WOW! I have been vacationing a couple times a year in Sarasota for over 10 years. My family and I love a great pizza. I thought Sarasota was a flop as far as pizza goes, until this past March Break. I went to another restaurant and asked some locals where I could get a great pizza and I was told I had to go to Rico's. My sister and I headed over there the next night and where amazed by how great the pizza was. Then the bill came and we almost fell off the chair, it was cheap too! The owner was friendly and entertaining. Can't wait for my summer vacation for some more fabulous pizza and a visit with Maurice.

after trying so many pizza places in sarasota i finally found the best pizza in town. the menu is pretty extensive and priced right.

now i know why they were voted best pizza in sarasota for so many years. Im upset it took this long to find this place..... the pizza is outstanding

The food is great. The service when you dine in, is pretty good. The delivery is not so good. When you call in to order, it takes a while to get through, and then it ussually takes an hr and a half to get the food.

Service is hit or miss, but the food is good.
