      Business History
      Back in 1967, Cecil Eyers was searching for a good business to start. He knew it had to be something related to automobiles, which was where his talents and interests lie. He was in the market for getting a trailer hitch installed on his car to tow a boat he had just purchased, and the only place around that could do the job was pretty far away. As he was observing the hitch and wiring getting installed on his car, he was struck with the idea that he could do a better job of the installation, and the idea for a new business was born. He contacted the manufacturer of the hitch that was installed on his vehicle, who agreed to personally train him on all aspects of trailer hitch installation. Because Cecil has always enjoyed a great aptitude for anything mechanical, and had welding and repair training in the Navy, he learned quickly and soon excelled at his craft. The business took off soon after he opened his doors, and eventually, he brought his family in to help him run the business.
