We provide free consultations as well as a free 30-day trial period. We are confident that this will be your last stop (and hopefully your first stop) in your search for the help you need for your hearing difficulty. According to the National Council on Aging (ncoa), more than 10 million Americans between ages 45 ? 64 have hearing loss. Those numbers have increased by 26 percent between 1971 and 1990, largely due to voluntary and involuntary noise exposure. Four out of five people with hearing loss do not use hearing aids and do not seek help until they are over 60, even though their quality of life is adversely affected. Unfortunately, waiting years to get help only exacerbates the problem. In fact, a recent survey conducted by the ncoa found that those with untreated hearing loss were more likely to report depression, anxiety, and paranoia and were less likely to participate in social activities compared with those who wear hearing instruments.
