      General Info
      We are a full service Veterinary Hospital and Critical Care Facility. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical, surgical and emergency care as necessary during your pet's lifetime. Our laboratory, x-ray, surgical facility, as well as our fully stocked pharmacy allows us to give the best possible care on a daily and emergency basis.
      Business History
      Dr. Dale Ackler received his training from Michigan State University and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He practiced in New York and Flint, MI before purchasing the Mancelona Veterinary Hospital in 1997. In 2001 the business moved from downtown Mancelona to our current location on U.S. Highway 131. With the new facility, we were able to offer more services to our clients and their beloved companions.
