My name is Susan. In 2013, a freak medical event necessitated that I file for bankruptcy. As an ICU nurse for 28 years prior to becoming disabled, I had been committed to a healthy lifestyle. I was a vegan for 30 years and thirty-five miles on my bike was my short ride, fifty miles, my long ride. I was physically, emotionally and financially hardy. I worked hard.
