      Michael Stattel, MA, LPC, is a licensed counselor in Grants Pass, OR. I provide a mind-body centered counseling approach to mental health. Mind-body counseling work restores joy, vitality, hope, physical well-being and intimacy with others by freeing up emotional blocks in a safe and supportive manner. Grief, depression, anxiety, stress, and couples conflicts are also addressed. This approach is especially effective in releasing psychological traumas that underlie physical symptoms. My practice includes: Individual counseling; Couples and marriage counseling; Adolescent counseling; Family counseling; Therapeutic breathwork. I have over 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples and teens to achieve healing. My background of study includes extensive work with many of the most highly regarded leaders in the field of mind-body psychology. Insurance is accepted, and I work on a sliding-scale for those without insurance.
