      Dr. Augustus has over 20 years of experience in adult psychiatry and 18 years in private practice. Upon completing her bachelor's degree in microbiology at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, she completed medical school at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, and residency at LSU-MC in New Orleans, LA, in 1996. After completing her education and training in Louisiana, Dr. Augustus relocated to Memphis and worked at regional hospitals and facilities around the Tri-State area of Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. In 2001, she branched out and began her private practice - Christian Psychiatric Service Our office is located in Germantown, Tennessee, where we proudly serve the greater Memphis metropolitan area, which includes the neighboring cities of Little Rock, Arkansas ; West Memphis, Arkansas ; Southaven, Mississippi ; Olive Branch, Mississippi ; and Tupelo, Mississippi.
