The only new concert grand introduced to the world in the 21st Century, the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano was the instrument of choice for most of the contestants at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. It was the instrument of choice by the winner of the 16th International Chopin Competition, shortly after it was introduced to the world. The CFX was the only instrument used for the 2016 Berliner Klavier Festival. The DCFX (Disklavier Concert Grand) is the instrument used for the E Piano Competitions in Minneapolis and Fairbanks, Alaska, where it simulcasts LIVE to all Disklaviers around the world!
