We achieve this goal by addressing the unique physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each individual we serve. Available 24/7, our team of healthcare professionals also supports families and caregivers by educating and empowering them to become confident caregivers. Hospice of the Piedmont provides services wherever you call home – nursing facility, assisted living, or private residents – as well as at our inpatient facility, Hospice Home at High Point. Business History

Hospice of the Piedmont, one of the first hospice programs in North Carolina in the early 1980s, was established by a group of caring individuals motivated by a common concern for improving end-of-life care. The legacy of those volunteers is carried on today by a hardworking professional staff of 115+ supplemented by a large corps of active volunteers and community supporters.
