I have been to another driving school before and they did not compare to Bath Beach driving school. This school was excellent the instructors are friendly and feel like your friends and family after a while. I went from not knowing how to drive at all to getting my drivers license thanks to this school. And they have 1 hour lessons which I feel you need to really learn. I highly recommend this school!

I was having trouble passing my road test since i previously failed twice. I was looking for better driving instructors and finally decided to give this school a try and so glad i did.Great friendly and professional staff,teachers are punctual and give one full hour lessons. I took 6 lessons with road test and car package and thanks to Mitch I passed my road test so happy I chose Bath Beach School. Highly recommend!

Bath Beach Driving School is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the driving instructors are very patient and understanding with the students. My son just received his license after taking lessons with them. I would highly recommend them.

Bath Beach Driving School was a great experience. I had not been behind a wheel of a car in 10 years and my instructor Frank made me feel so comfortable from lesson 1. After my final lesson I passed my road test....Thank you Bath Beach Driving School!!!!!!

Barbara, the owner of this school is very professional and attentive. She will fit you to an instructor that is best for you. She also gave me a mini discount for taking extra highway lessons. I'd rather be extra safe than sorry. I enjoy annoying my current instructor because I find him hilarious, but he also knows how to be very direct with his instruction and makes me feel very comfortable. I will say, if you live in the area, choose this school!

I learned how to drive thanks to Frank, Mitch and Barbara from the Bath Beach Driving School; these teachers were punctual, patient and great at teaching me how to drive.

I had never driven before and at age 47 my husband signed me up for a 10 lesson package. I wanted to make sure I would be ready for the road test as I was having problems with my turns so I signed up for another six lessons. In May 2012 I took my road test and passed it on my first try. I am grateful for the instructor that was assigned to me, Frank, who was very friendly and had total patience with me. Thank you Frank! Barbara's Five-Hour class was very informative.

I love the fact that I got full hour lessons, door to door pick up. The instructors and the staff are friendly. They are very knowledgeable in what they do and good at prep-ing you for the road test and lots of good "real life" driving advice. I couldn't pass without their assistance.

I took 7 lessons with this school in the span of less than two months. I chose the package deal which included the 5 hour pre licensing course, road test (which they provide the car for) and 6 lessons, plus a bonus lesson because of an anniversary special they had going. They are slightly pricier than others in the area but they give a full hour and know what they're doing. The first two lessons I took with Mitch who was super friendly and very easy going. The last 5 I took with Robert who was very straight forward and meticulous. Both were very knowledgable and accomodating but with different styles to suit different students. This was my third attempt at getting my license and I passed flawlessly. Highly recommended.

I was very nervous about trying to learn to drive at the ripe old age of 50 (!) but Barbara is a fantastic instructor! She coaches and gently corrects, and I became comfortable behind the wheel without even realizing I was "learning!" The 10-lesson package is perfect and by the time of the dreaded road test, I felt like I knew what I was doing. Barbara's easygoing, relaxed manner make the lessons enjoyable and she really gave me the confidence to pass the road test. As a bonus, the office staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I highly recommend Bath Beach Driving School; even if you are nervous and lack confidence, they will help you become a driver!

Just received my driver's license!!! I took a 5-hour class by Barbara in February: it was awesome. And so interesting! We, the students, had lots of questions, and Barbara explained and demonstrated everything so brightly that I memorized all possible traffic situations for life. I used to drive in a different country before, this is why I took only one driving lesson. My instructor was calm and professional. I'm reckoning, if you really want to learn how to drive, you should check this school out. Barbara also specifically emphasizes driving in NYC because there is a distinguishing traffic law in the Big Apple. And I love their marketing strategy as well: this school suggests you various affordable and mutually advantageous deals but they do not push you to make your decision. I definitely recommend the Bath Beach Driving School.

I was very happy with Bath Beach Driving School, I took my 5 hour class with them and then took a 10 lesson package, they took care of everything, they scheduled my road test and I passed, I am very happy and would recommend them.

I had all my lessons with Barbara and she's great, she really takes the pressure off driving because she converses pretty much the whole time so everything comes to you naturally during the test. That really does help. Whatever you do though don't take the test in Fox Hills, Staten Island, even Starrett City is better, that's where I passed. Overall, good experience I would recommend this school for sure.

The lessons overall were good. I got a lot of good instruction. However, the packages are misleading and imply I could learn to drive in six lessons. The instructor was cool about it. He said I needed more practice to pass my road test but said he did not care if I got it with him or another school. I recommend taking at least four-five lessons as I did then practice a bit with friends and family. Then take two-three more and one on the day of the road test. Because I had a wierd schedule I ended up having three different instructors. They were all cool guys. They did not try to hit on me like this other place I used five years ago (and that turned me off to the whole process). I personally took thirteen lessons and passed my test the first time. I practiced a couple more hours with friends and family. I really needed to do it to be able to move out of New York (but then I ended up staying). I went back to the school for highway lessons.
