dr gilbert and his son and staff are the most caring people. when it comes to pets each and everyone of the people that work there are outstanding with pets. you could not find a better vetenarian than these people they show kindness and concern to every pet that comes thru that door. there clinic is outstanding. thankyou for being there for us. Absolutely amazed. Went to a vet (near Detroit, my hometown) who diagnosed my dog with heartworm and said that they should begin treatment immediately. Wanted a second opinion, so while up at FSU, i took my dog to them, he said the dog had heartworm, but very beginning stages, and it should disappear with the prescibed heartworm preventatives. Needless to say 5 years later, and my dog is still with me and healthy. Saved me money, and my best bud. Now every year, i make the drive back (3 hours) to see him, Very honest/blunt vet.

Doc Gilbert has been our family vet for a very long time. Even when I lived in Washington state, I waited until my visits home to take my dog to him for a check up. He saved my brother's beloved dog from meningitis. INCREDIBLE! Pleasant View is simply amazing and I recommend them to anyone and everyone. THANK YOU, DOC GILBERT, FOR EVERYTHING!

We used to live 10 minutes from Dr Gilbert and Pleasant View Animal Clinic. We have since moved to Grand Rapids and tried other vets...to say the least...we drive the hour to see Dr Gilbert! This clinic is amazing. We also board our dogs there when we go on vacation. They are so accommodating and take such good care of our animals that we have no hesitation about leaving them. I would definitely recommend Pleasant View Animal Clinic both as a vets office and as a dog boarding facility.

I make a trip of 1 1/2 hrs to go to this clinic. I live around Grand Rapids area and I found the vets in charge of PleasantView are top notch. I have brought my horses, dogs and cats here when they were sick and for their regular vacinations/ check-ups. Originally my dog got sick and ALL other vets in area wanted a large cash deposit BEFORE they would work on her. I called all the way to Big Rapids, talked to Doc Gilbert , he said bring her down to him now, no need for a deposit. He treated her, she recovered and brought us 15 years of family joy till her death. Pleasant View Animal Clinic is the ONLY vet service I use and so should you.
