During the past 25 years, I have had crowns, root canals, and gum surgery performed by Dr. McQuade. Each time he has taken ample time to discuss the rationale for the procedures a well as the options. I appreciate that he is up to date on current research and willing to listen to my concerns and questions so that I can truly be part of the decision. He is very aware of patient comfort during procedures and he is a perfectionist, a trait that I welcome in my dentist! His staff too is skilled and supportive, even down to their knowledge and advice regarding insurance. Although I live on the south shore, I take the extra time to drive to Andover. It is worth it.

I began seeing Dr. McQuade in Cambridge and later on, became his patient when he opened his private practice in Andover. He has been my dentist for over 15 years. I continue to see him and travel 90 minutes round trip because he offers services of the highest quality, is sensitive to pain related issues and excellent at pain management, and is extremely straight forward in his findings and recommendations. He is a perfectionist in his work. He is exceedingly honest and ethical and I always know that his findings and recommendations are in my best dental health interests and in my financial interest. His staff is wonderful, supportive and never hesitate to hold my hand if I am feeling anxious. If you are happy with average, then you can accept average. If you want the best, you take Dr. McQuade. I avoided going to a dentist for many years because I had a painful experience at a dental office in the past. However, Dr. Charles McQuade & his staff put me at ease & went very slowly & gently as they worked on my teeth. It took several visits to complete the work I needed but they were considerate of my fears & in fact, made it an absolutely pleasant experience.
