My father owns a very small auto dealership. He bought a car from Carbone's dealer auction in Utica, NY. that was green lit (meaning the engine and transmission are good without issues). The car was driven for a day or so and the head gasket started acting up. The car was returned to Carbone. They said you only have the same day the car was bought (so about 5-6 hours) to return the car if there are issues. They still gave a credit towards the repairs since clearly the car was not actually green lit. About a week later, an inspection was attempted. Of course, no connection was able to be made. It was brought to an independent repair shop and they said that the car is not communicating and that it may be a computer problem or wiring harness or maybe something else. The car could not have been green lit if they were not able to communicate with the car. When asked, Doug Risucci the GM from Carbone Nissan told me that they classify a car as green lit if it drives. The manager was also very disrespectful and didn't apologize once. He basically told me you win some, you lose some. When it comes to taking your money, they're all smiles but when it comes to customer service, don't expect anything. I asked for contact info for the manager above him. The first number was invalid. The second went straight to voicemail and it was full so I couldn't leave a message. From all this, I'm gonna say that customer service falls last on Carbone's priority list, especially after a sale.

My experience with Carbone Nissan has been a nightmare. The salesman Doug is a smug liar. Once they get your money, they don't care about you. I bought a 2 year old car certified preowned and it has broken down 3 times in 6 months!! Now they don't want to hear from me. DO NOT buy a car there! You will be soooooooooooo sorry. Such liars! They are what make up all the jokes for being taken advantage of by a car dealer. I am telling everyone I know!

Poor. Salesman telling me about his personal life and divorce issues. All B.S. nothing this guy said was truthful. I was quoted a number for monthly payment of est $336 a month. Agreed to estimate. Came back few hours later to finalize to see that my estimate had changed to $400 a month. Looking over bill I had $2000 fee attached for road side assistance. Nice. I also explained if the interest rate were higher than 4%. I would like to use my personal bank for loan. Tried to lock me into a higher loan with there bank next door. Americu. Not very happy with there business practice. I bought a car out in Rome, Ny. Rome Volkswagen That was a straight forward process. No B.S. involved in that transaction. Would not recommend the sales department at CARBONE Nissan.



Adding on. Has been 30 days now. Temporary registration is getting ready to expire. NYS DMV has no record of my vehicle from dealer. Called Dealership. Waiting for response. Hassle...

They mocked me in my face, in my life and bought 7 cars and try to do business with them has been my worst experience not even recommend it to my worst enemy.

The sales staff seemed to be comprised of rude personalities with snarky comments. We were considering trading our vehicle in, but were treated poorly. They proceeded to leave us in the lot for almost an hour thinking they would return. If you would like to be treated with the respect that all people deserve do not choose to purchase your vehicle from the sales staff at Carbone Nissan. We will never return to deal with the sales staff or their manager. They exude a level of arrogance and bias that they seem to believe is acceptable behavior for retail sales. Alternately, the service side is good people. That side cares more about customer satisfaction than the sales staff. This is the only reason why Carbone Nissan receives two stars. We will not be calling your corporate office to complain. This was suggested to previous reviewers, and yet your company continues to have these types of issues. We would rather the people know directly. If you decide that this is an issue, then please inform your corporate office.
