      For more than 100 years, Aurora Specialty Textiles Group has provided the textile industry with a wide variety of finishes and coatings. Aurora finishes fabrics made of 100 percent cotton or a cotton/synthetic blend. Its manufacturing capabilities include scouring, bleaching, dyeing, coating, calendering, embossing and specialty finishing. Water repellents, flame retardants and soil-release finishes are common topical treatments. Aurora will purchase and finish greige goods to customers' specifications and commission finish customer-supplied goods. Aurora Specialty Textiles Group is a division of Meridian Industries, a diversified manufacturing company headquartered in Milwaukee. Aurora Specialty Textiles Group has a plant in Aurora, Ill.
