For the lady and gentleman of discernment, The Gifted Ferret offers a unique shopping experience for gifts, boutique wines, gourmet, decor and art. In addition to a varied selection of boutique wines, at The Gifted Ferret you will also find distinctive Arthur Court dinnerware, subtly fragrant Habersham Wax Pottery Vessels, fashion jewelry for the decidedly untrendy; chocolates and Wicked Jack's Tavern rum cakes, wine accessories, whimsical Forked Up Art, candles (including flameless candles), hilarious "Wild Women" greeting cards by the artist Jill Haney-Neil and many more beautiful gift and decor items. Be assured, by our definition 'boutique' does not mean exorbitantly priced. Nor does it mean that our premises are so rarefied that you are made to feel out of place. To the contrary. When you visit us, you will be cordially welcomed by gracious and knowledgeable staff who will unobtrusively attend to your needs. And, some Saturday night, when the prospect of hanging out at a raucous bar has all the appeal of changing a flat tire in the rain, why not try something new and come to a wine tasting? We host free wine tastings every Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. where we sample three different wines in an understated and convivial atmosphere. For those who want to become more knowledgeable about wine, whether the connoisseur or anyone who has only recently acquired an appreciation, we offer wine classes which are taught by wine industry professionals. Also, The Gifted Ferret is the perfect venue for a private wine tasting in conjunction with your client presentation, fundraiser or special occasion. Kevin Kino is the owner of The Gifted Ferret. You can find him at the store arranging merchandise or up on the ladder adjusting a spotlight, and he is usually your host for our Saturday night wine tastings. Feel free to say hello.
