The Minnesota Department of Transportation s Willmar-District 8 serves Chippewa, Lyon, Pipestone, Kandiyohi, McLeod and Redwood counties throughout Minnesota. The district supports over 350 bridges, nearly 15 airports and 10 transit systems. It also maintains more than 2,885 lane miles of state and federal highways. The Minnesota Department of Transportation s Willmar-District 8 undertakes projects for the repair and maintenance of bridge decks tension cable guardrails, and warning flashers and lighting systems. The district specializes in grading, unbonded concrete overlay, and bituminous and concrete surfacing works. Its regional offices are located in Marshall and Hutchinson cities in Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is administered by the state government of Minnesota.
