- Foster Children's Project provides advocacy and legal assistance services for children aged 12 and below. The project has been serving children since 2001. It provides the services of attorneys who represent children in foster care systems. Located in West Palm Beach, Fla., the Foster Children's Project is governed by The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, which is a nonprofit organization that offers free legal services to disadvantaged children, families and senior citizens. Founded in 1949, The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County additionally handles fair housing, domestic violence, juvenile advocacy and elder law projects.
