Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, located in Norristown, Pa., offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular programs to students in prekindergarten through grades 12. The organization provides educational services through more than 22 schools and school districts throughout the United States, and has an enrollment of over 100,000 students. Its curriculum includes arts, business, computers, English, math, science, social studies, sacraments, Bible studies, and health and physical education. The institution provides a variety of sports activities, including cross country, soccer, swimming, basketball, cheerleading, skiing, gymnastics, golf, lacrosse, tennis and track. It organizes activities and events through its various clubs that include dance, music, band, choir and orchestra. The schools also have parent-teacher association that involves parents in various fund-raising, social services and educational activities.
