      I have a passion for flying, and grew up in Utah enjoying all that this great state has to offer. I live in the Lehi area with my beautiful wife and three boys, and I love doing anything outdoors… four wheeling, rock climbing, backpacking, camping, riding horses and especially flying. As a boy I always dreamed of flying, and have been living that dream since the age of 19. It was then that I recognized the need for a private flight school to have the key elements that were important in my learning. I wanted something that was affordable, an environment that was fun and enjoyable, had flexibility, taught essential safety procedures, and offered modern aircraft designs. These are the founding concepts behind Randon Aviation. It won’t be long before you’re flying a plane, yet feeling like it’s as easy as driving a car. Getting my students to this level of learning is my #1 goal; which is why we use the Alrus CH2T Trainer instead of the older designs that are still out there. This is an aircraft that is designed to help new students learn the important principles of flying, and practice them in a safe environment. Creating that safe environment is fundamental, and my instructors play a key role in that. We only hire seasoned veterans who know flying, and enjoy teaching others to fly in a safe, friendly, and fun environment. As a pilot, I have had the opportunity to train with several schools, including the Aviation Program at UVU. Through these experiences I have come to learn the importance of high quality training, which has been the driving force in creating a school that I could be proud of.
